We are looking for Java programmers who want to take long-term responsibility for development. If you know multiple programming languages then that’s even better. Right now we are also developing in JavaScript and Objective C. The deep understanding of the web, distributed systems, and Unix is either a qualification or your dream.

We work in a small cross-functional team that takes collective responsibility, we don´t use scrum masters any more.  You must like to work with others and since everyone here loves to program, it is also a prerequisite to like to work here and be able to do a good job. You probably have – or had –programming as an interest outside of work too.

A high sense of quality is important. Some call our focus on testing fanatic, but we believe it is necessary to create things that are really good. In order to run our relatively huge test fleet, we have even built our own test cloud. Every day it runs around half a million tests in order to verify that what we build is as strong as steel.

For a long time we have been using agile thinking to organize ourselves, but adapted to our needs. We work in very short interactions where we always try to deliver customer value, or new knowledge.

As a developer with us you work near the product owners and other stakeholders. But in order to express our desire to learn and invent, we also have lab-days each month. We also have seminars and dojos. When the ‘geektime’ on the day is not enough then we do ‘geeknights’.
