    Jim Rose — Chief Executive Officer

    Jim Rose was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Atex in December 2010. Jim has been serving as a non-Executive Director of Atex for the last six years. Prior to joining Atex, Jim was Chairman and CEO of Mosaic Sales Solutions, a large privately held marketing services company based in Dallas, Texas. Prior to Mosaic, he was CEO of Media Planning Group (MPG), a subsidiary of Havas; a publicly traded French marketing communications company based in Paris, France. Jim brings a wealth of experience in leading, growing and delivering value-added products and services to customers. Jim has been CEO for a number of technology, media and marketing services companies over the last two decades. Jim, a US national, also has dual citizenship in the United Kingdom where he was based for over twelve years in leading global technology and services businesses.

  • George McDevitt — Chief Financial Officer

    George McDevitt — Chief Financial Officer

    George is a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive experience of working in the technology sector. During his 15 years at Oracle, he has held several senior Finance positions during the period when revenues grew from $1bn to over $25bn. His experience at Oracle included the implementation of Shared Service Centres in Dublin and Bangalore and the integration of over 20 acquisitions. He has extensive experience of working across Europe, Middle East and Africa and supporting the development of Global initiatives. George spent 2 years as European CFO for Global Crossing where he significantly improved both profitability and cash flow and most recently was an advisor for Misys Plc. He has extensive experience of working with sales, customers and suppliers to drive profitability and cash. In addition he has a strong background in investing in the development of individuals and teams.

    Alan Reardon — Chief Operating Officer

    Alan Reardon has over 30 years’ experience in the creation and delivery of business critical software solutions to some of the most prestigious blue chip clients worldwide. Prior to joining Atex, Alan spent over 20 years in the Manufacturing sector, working in positions of increasing responsibility. Alan’s focus is providing packaged client solutions designed to make a real business difference by increasing revenues, reducing cost and maximising return at lowest risk. Alan joined Atex in 2003 as Group COO, and has brought his prior experience to bear in the Atex transformation to solutions provider to Media industry clients. Alan is part of the core team which executes all of Atex’s recent acquisitions, including Atex’s digital core, Polopoly.

  • Jean Paul Chauvet — Chief Executive Officer, Atex EMEA

    Jean Paul Chauvet — Chief Executive Officer, Atex EMEA

    Jean Paul Chauvet joined Atex in September 2008 and has recently moved to become Chief Executive Officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He oversees operations in the region, while continuing to be responsible for global sales and marketing. Jean Paul Chauvet is a consummate executive with more than 17 years’ experience building international sales and marketing teams and forging strong relationships in the digital publishing business. Formerly, Vice-president of ePublishing at Nstein Technologies he was responsible for jumpstarting their publishing business and managed to quadruple company revenues in 2 years.

    Previously, Chauvet was Vice-president of sales and marketing at IxiaSoft, responsible for building a robust network of 50 OEM and channel partners in 12 countries, IxiaSoft became the most deployed XML database. He has also held senior sales and marketing positions at France Telecom Multimedia in the early nineties. Through his keen knowledge of technology and publishing Jean Paul is able to solve market needs and communicate this in an engaging and straightforward manner. He has a proven track record and enthusiastic, results-oriented style which have been instrumental in his success. Jean Paul holds a Masters in Marketing and International Business.

  • Peter G. Marsh — Executive Vice President, Global Product Management

    Peter G. Marsh — Executive Vice President, Global Product Management

    As Executive Vice President of Global Product Management, Peter is responsible for overseeing the complete Atex solutions portfolio, including software products for Advertising, Content Management, Web CMS, and Audience Development. Peter joined Atex in 2005. He architected the Atex DNA strategy, as well as the OneView browser-based framework that provides a “single view of the customer, a single view of the content” across all Atex products. In 2010, Peter launched the Atex Customer Value Management program, which is designed to maximize the lifetime value of Atex products for all 1,000+ global clients. Peter is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and his articles appear regularly in business publications around the world. A longtime media veteran, Peter founded Deadline Data Systems in 1992, developer of software technologies for the publishing industry. Before joining Atex, Peter was the CEO of 5 Fifteen Inc., and he has held senior management positions at Xenotron, EBSCO Publishing, and ECRM. Peter has a B.Sc. from Boston University, with a Summa Cum Laude degree in Journalism and Communications. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Samaritans, a Boston based non-profit organization dedicated to suicide prevention.

  • David Montgomery — Global Vice President Product Development

    David Montgomery — Global Vice President Product Development

    David Montgomery joined Atex in March 2009. He is responsible for overseeing product development across all of the Atex development centres. David works closely with the global product management team to ensure consistency in both technical and product direction. David is also the chief architect behind Atex's "OneView" product strategy. In 1999, David was one of the founders of 5 fifteen Limited. David brings to Atex nearly 20 years of software innovation in the media industry and has held senior management positions in both Anite PLC and 5 fifteen Limited. David works closely with a number of industry bodies and has held a position on the BPA’s European Audience Development/Fulfilment Advisory Committee (EDEAC). With an extensive knowledge of technology and publishing, David has a proven track record in delivery of complex software solutions globally.

  • Scott Roessler — Regional CEO, Atex North America

    Scott Roessler — Regional CEO, Atex North America

    Scott has over 20 years experience in the technology and media industries and joined Atex when Mactive was acquired by Atex in February 2007. Scott is responsible for Atex’s business in North America. At the present time, Scott is working with the development and support team on Atex’s next generation of advertising products and digital advertising products, which include some great new innovations in digital inventory management. Prior to joining Atex, Scott started Mactive America in December 1996. He was responsible for creating the current version of the AdBase advertising product and establishing the AdBase brand as the market leader in America for advertising solutions. While at Mactive, Scott was the CEO of Mactive America and the CTO for the Mactive group worldwide. Prior to starting Mactive America, Scott was with Harris Publishing Systems for 10 years in various roles, including software development. Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mathematics from Youngstown State University. Upon graduating from Youngstown State University in 1985, Scott relocated to Melbourne, Florida where he lives today with his wife, son and daughter.

    Alexandre Carvalho — Regional CEO, Atex Latin America

    Alexandre Americano de Andrade Carvalho brings to Atex nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He first joined the company in 1992, when Atex was a division of Eastman Kodak. In 1997, he joined Unisys Media, Latin America, where over the next 10 years he filled various roles within the product management, pre-sales and product strategy departments, until reaching the role of Regional Sales Director. During his time, Carvalho was instrumental in Unisys’ success in the region, helping the company win new business from some of the region’s leading media companies. In 2007, he rejoined Atex as Managing Director of Latin America. Alexandre holds an engineering degree from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia IMT. He currently lives with his wife and two children in San Paulo, Brazil.

  • Dr. Ross Wood — Regional CEO, Atex Australia and New Zealand

    Dr. Ross Wood — Regional CEO, Atex Australia and New Zealand

    Dr. Ross Wood has held this position since August 2002. His career in the publishing industry spans 24 years. Prior to joining Atex, Dr. Wood was Chief Technology Officer of the Fairfax group in Sydney, Australia for nearly six years from 1996. He commenced in the publishing industry with News Limited from 1979. From 1983 to 1996 he was Group Computer Services Manager of News, including 9 months at Wapping in 1985/86. Dr. Wood has a PhD and BSc(Hons) in Computer Science from Monash University, Victoria, Australia.

  • Jerome Laredo — Regional CEO, Atex Asia

    Jerome Laredo — Regional CEO, Atex Asia

    Jerome Laredo brings more than 15 years of software sales experience to Atex. He joined the company in 2008 and until recently was VP of Sales in EMEA, where he spearheaded expansion into many emerging markets with a strong focus on digital products. Previously, Jerome held roles in EMEA for Nstein Technologies, Teleglobe and Ixiasoft, where he was instrumental in building successful sales teams, developing efficient resellers' channels and driving new business. Originally from France, Jerome has lived in Canada, the US and the UK. He holds a MSc in International Business from HEC Montréal.
