John Hawkins

John Hawkins has over 30 years experience in the Information, Technology and Telecommunications Industries. John is the former CEO of Anite Plc, where he was responsible for one of the largest IT company turnarounds. In his career he has been responsible for over 40 acquisitions and 10 disposals, making him an expert in the integration of companies and their management teams. John is currently Chairman of Genus plc, Non Executive Chairman of Salamander and Non Executive Director of Psion PLC.
 
John has been CEO of Atex since 2004 when he was appointed by Kistefos to turn around the company with a fundamentally sound suite of cash generating products but bloated cost structure. Since joining Atex, John and the management team have hit all operating performance targets set.
