Head of Global Product Management
Pete Marsh joined Atex in August 2005. He is responsible for overseeing the global product management and technology roadmaps for all Atex advertising, content management, subscriptions, and OneView ‘Single View of the Customer’ systems. He is also chief architect of the Atex DNA (Digital News and Advertising) strategy. In addition, he manages all third-party partnerships and the integration of new technologies into the Atex worldwide product portfolios.
In 1992, Pete founded Deadline Data Systems, provider of newsroom and advertising systems for the newspaper and magazine industry. Deadline Data also pioneered the development of plug-in software applications to integrate enterprise publishing systems with desktop applications such as QuarkXPress. Before joining Atex, Peter was the CEO and president of 5 Fifteen Inc. He has also held senior management positions at EBSCO Publishing, Xenotron, and ECRM.
Peter holds a B.Sc. from Boston University, with a Summa Cum Laude degree in Journalism and Communications. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and his articles have appeared in Presstime, Editor & Publisher, Newspapers and Technology, Ideas Magazine, The Cole Papers, Newspaper Techniques, The Boston Globe, and Mass High Tech.
