Kaango, the leading web classifieds software platform in the United States, has joined the Atex global family of companies. As part of a deal that keeps Hearst Corporation and MediaNews Group as shareholders, Atex plans to expand Kaango worldwide, while bolstering the software platform’s existing U.S. business with Atex sales, service and support infrastructure.
Atex announces a new software module that integrates the AdBase advertising system with Microsoft Exchange 2007. Customer contact and calendar information is automatically synchronized, which helps sales reps keep account details current in the AdBase CRM tool. The functionality applies to any type of mail platform Microsoft Exchange 2007 supports, including Outlook and Web mail.
PPF Media, the Prague-based division of PPF Group, has signed an agreement to implement the Atex DNA One product suite to support its Naseadresa hyperlocal news project. DNA One combines Web and print editorial content management systems into a fully integrated and unified system.
