Haaretz (Hebrew: הארץ‎) (lit. "The Land") is Israel's oldest daily newspaper.
It was founded in 1918 and is now published in both Hebrew and English in Berliner format. Atex supplies Polopoly (web CMS) to Haaretz and on 23 September 2011 signed a Multi-million dollar 10 year deal for Editorial Print Management Services (Prestige CMS).

Atex will integrate both the web based English and Hebrew language versions of the paper with that of the print editions. Once complete, Journalists and Editorial staff will be able to create content once and publish this to any communication channel they like, including a Tablet Edition for domestic and overseas readers.

The solution will help improve the internal efficiency of Newsroom staff, reduce IT support costs and enable Haaretz to reach a larger audience. Atex was chosen because of it's domain expertise in the Editorial and newsroom environment and the skill and care of the staff we asked to lead and run this assignment. Work has already begun on the project.
