Les Journaux du Midi is a media group of three daily newpapers - Midi Libre, L'Indépendant and Centre-Presse - and they have a large audience in South-West of France. All these newspapers are multi-edition and produce more than 280 pages per day. The group is around 900 people, with 460 journalists for the cross channel publishing, print, Web, and tablets.
Les journaux du Midi selects Atex for multi-channel content management solution, with Atex CMS as as its group wide content management platform. The implementation enables journalists of the group to search, package, enhance and share content across the group’s print and digital channels, improving integration and operational efficiency.
Our long term experience with atex content has been completely satisfying, but we are now facing a new challenge of building a true multimedia newsroom. Therefore, we have chosen the Atex content management solution because it will allow us to continue supplying high quality print products and developing our leadership in the online local news market. One of our key decision points is that we wanted to use a system that allowed the newsroom to manage the end-to-end production process.
