Mathrubhumi is a Kerala based; one of the front-runners among the Malayalam language newspapers in India.  Mathrubhumi was conceived as the mouthpiece of India’s great freedom movement, the first copy of Mathrubhumi was published on 18th of March 1923.  Today, the Mathrubhumi Group has established as a fast growing publishing house with the growth of fourteen editions, including the ones at New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai.  The Mathrubhmi newspapers has an impressive circulation of over one million copies in India.  The online edition www.mathrubhumi.com was launched in 1997 and in 2005, the website has been upgraded to many channels.
