Media General Publishing Division owns more daily newspapers in the southeast United States than any other company. Publishing assets include three metropolitan newspapers, including The Tampa Tribune, Richmond Times-Dispatch, Winston-Salem Journal, and 22 daily community newspapers in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina plus more than 100 weekly newspapers and other publications.
Media General wanted to redress years of managing a mixture of advertising/financial systems installed across its 125 sites.
The company has implemented the AdBase advertising application bringing about the convergence of disparate advertising-financial systems into a single system from a single vendor and supported from a single site.
