Norway's public service media company - uses Polopoly as their central publishing and content management system. NRK gathers all digital services under the same system platform.

NRK publishes in a number of digital channels; for example the web-site nrk.no, teletext and super teletext and the news service on Oslo's airport express train. NRK also offers a great variety of mobile services that will be published through Polopoly.

NRK is Norway's largest content producer with a strong presence in all media. The aim of implementing Polopoly was to improve the distribution of news and related information to the broad Norwegian public.

NRK:s website has approximately 12 million page views per week. NRK is also one of Polopoly's largest clients, considering the amount of content. Above all, they use Polopoly Content Management but also Polopoly Community Module for their video blog.

NRK implemented Polopoly themselves together with Tarantell. They use Linux, Tomcat and MySQL.
