SEAT expects improvements in service delivered through Polopoly to strengthen its relations with customers
Milan – Atex, the world’s largest and longest serving provider of print and digital solutions for media companies, announces that SEAT Pagine Gialle has chosen Polopoly as the platform for its customer’s websites. This choice confirms the company’s commitment to a digital strategy. SEAT Pagine Gialle is a world leader in the supply of multi-channel advertising and communication tools. With its experience and its attention to technological innovation, this group has a business network of more than 2,000 employees, a database of about 15 million contacts and 3.8 million companies.
Polopoly will be integrated into SEAT’s existing digital platform to develop the Visual Sites, which are on-line directories dedicated to its customers: each of these mini-sites will contain the references to customer data, such as contacts, personal details, pictures and other information.
In an environment which always requires the best in terms of scalability and flexibility to manage a huge amount of information, Polopoly’s advanced architecture enables SEAT to manage thousands of mini-sites at the same time, but also to process all the information shared by them in a prompt and simultaneous way. Another key benefit of Polopoly has been its high level of performance, designed to deliver an efficient system even as the volume of traffic increases substantially. By integrating Polopoly into the existing environment, SEAT is able to have a more secure environment, and an easier way to handle dynamic content, which enables the company to deliver services that fit perfectly with their customer’s business models.
With Polopoly, SEAT Pagine Gialle is able to maximize the administration of its network of customers and to widen the availability of its services. The flexibility of the Atex platform will also make it easier to control the digital delivery and the update of contents, and to create new templates for websites. Moreover, all the systems that SEAT will create and develop in the future will be easily integrated with Polopoly. Finally this platform will limit the expenses for maintenance, by offering fast starting up even for websites that need to support a complex structure of contents and a massive number of visits.
“SEAT Pagine Gialle gains a great advantage in our market by choosing Polopoly” – said Mr. Romolo Velati, Head of Internet Technical & Infrastructure Department. “The great efficiency of Polopoly assures a constant and immediate monitoring of all the content in the database. At the same time it can considerably reduce processing and updating time. With its innovative architecture and graphics, it makes the access to information easier and more immediate for our customers and our users. The great flexibility of this system will allow us to reduce the set up and maintenance expenses too.”
“This contract represents a further step in the transition to digital, a trend which is spreading more and more in the Global Media Industry” - declared Siamak Forouhi, Atex Sales Director Digital Media for Southern Europe. “Our company has been committed to supporting this trend for a long time. Thanks to this deal we are demonstrating the great opportunity for content management offered by our platform in the Italian market, where we are already the leading provider of print content management solutions”.
