A01 - Infrastructure Setup and Database Management

The course will provide an “under the hood” understanding of AdBase software, Oracle, SQL Server, Citrix and how they work together.

This hands-on course presents the knowledge and skills you need to install, configure and troubleshoot AdBase applications.  During this course, you will use a variety of AdBase tools: Database Utility, Configure AdBase, RunSQL, and vendor specific tools like Microsoft Event Viewer, Microsoft SQL Server Studio Manager and Oracle 10g Database Control.

  • Hands-on introduction to SQL Server 2005 and Oracle 10g
  • How to install, configure AdBase applications
  • Troubleshoot AdBase client-side issues
  • Discuss and Explore Citrix Presentation 4.0
  • Plan and perform AdBase Software Upgrades

This training class includes: production workflow overview, PageLayout, EPS Importer, AdDistributor, PGL Exporter, MediaLink, PageLink, Output.exe, Layout Exporter.

A06 - AdBase-E Overview and Setup

In this training session you will learn the necessary skills to set up and maintain an AdBase-E system. This includes, but is not limited to server technology, JSP pages, and core setup.
