circIT Partners with Atex to expand its Web content management capabilities

26 October 2010 - Reading, UK— Atex announces that circIT, a leading German IT services company, will use the Polopoly Web Content Management Solution to provide services for digital media companies. The Polopoly Web CMS will expand circIT’s product portfolio and strengthen the company’s position as a provider of innovative solutions to the media industry. circIT will offer Polopoly to its customers as a robust, high-performance platform that will help maintain and expand its position in the digital marketplace.

circIT chose the Polopoly Web Content Management Solution for its ability to provide efficient digital publishing workflows and increase visitors’ time spent on site. Polopoly also offers circIT a solution that supports the efficient, cost effective implementation of websites and micro-sites and can respond rapidly to changing market trends.

The first step of its Atex partnership covers the migration of two websites including the Web offering of Westdeutsche Zeitung (www.wz-newsline.de) and the online portal of Rheinische Post (www.rp-online.de), one of the largest regional online news portals in the country averaging nearly 100 million page impression a month. Both will be supported by the Atex Polopoly system with go-lives scheduled to start within the fourth quarter of 2010.

As part of the agreement, circIT will also become a Polopoly certified Partner, which will enable them to independently deliver projects without the active support of Atex teams.
