P03 - Atex Web CMS for Developers - Live Layout Manager

It includes the following:

• Building site elements in a component based fashion, allowing for code reuse between different sites, and different Atex Web CMS customers.
• Site elements can be dragged and dropped in the Atex Web CMS GUI.
• The "site" concept makes it straightforward to create a new site, automatically inheriting parts of the layout etc.
• A versatile page fragment caching utility, further enhancing the site's performance.

The course is for programmers developing on the Layout Manager framework of Atex Web CMS 9.9 and later. It gives an introduction to the API:s, MVC:s and features of the Layout Manager, it introduces the Layout Manager example site (Greenfield Times) and teaches how to build your own page components (page layouts, page elements etc).

NOTE:

As of August 2008, Atex Web CMS Live Layout Manager is part of theAtex Web CMS  for Developers training. Thus, the specific Live Layout Manager training is mostly pertinent for developers already familiar withAtex Web CMS .
