Federico Marturano

CEO

Federico’s background is from the Media Industry, he has led the digital operations for Gruppo Monrif in Italy before becoming CEO of L’Unione Editoriale SpA. He joined Atex in 2011 as manager of the Italian operations. He holds an MSc in Business Administration from the University Of Bologna.

Beate Khokhar

Chief Financial Officer

Beate started her career in finance as an auditor working for PriceWaterHouse Coopers in the UK. She qualified as a chartered accountant from the ICAEW and then joined Atex. In her time with Atex she has been involved in the various stages of transformation that led to the acquisition of Atex by Constellation Software Inc in 2017. Beate holds an MPhil of Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelors degree in Management from Surrey University.

Cesare Navarotto

Chief Digital Officer

Cesare has over 20 years experience in the telecom and internet industries, he joined Atex in 2019 coming from Gruppo Monrif in Italy where he was chief operating officer of digital operations. At Atex he is responsible for designing and driving our digital publishing product offering. He holds an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano.

Gian Camillo Vezzoli

Head of Business Unit – Content

Camillo has been working for the media industry since 1996. A software engineer at heart, he has enjoyed different roles in the software development business, ranging from Product Development management to Operations Director to Product Management. He believes marketing needs to have a thorough understanding of its company, products and the customers it serves. As such he also leads product management for Desk, the Atex multi-channel editorial solution for news publishers.

Tom York

Head of Business Unit – Advertising

Tom has over 15 years experience in the software and media industry. He joined Atex in 2000, has successfully delivered and supported software and IT programmes working with customers around the world. During this time at Atex he has held various positions that have involved engaging, designing, planning, implementing and supporting solutions through the ever changing demands of the media industry. Tom holds a BA in Business Administration.

Jorma Ainassaari

Head of Business Unit – Subscription

Jorma started his career in the Media Industry in 1994 with SyPress Oy, continuing with Atex in different positions, from Customer Support Engineer to Systems Manager, and participating in sales and IT projects with customers around the world. He founded Jaicom Oy, specialising in subscription systems, in 1999 and has worked as company CEO throughout the company history. Now, after 22 years, Jorma is happily back to Atex after the acquisition of Jaicom in late 2021. He holds an MSc in Process Engineering from the University of Oulu.

Paolo Lenzi

VP PS & CS

With 25 years of experience, Paolo pioneered the digital revolution in newspapers publishing. He is one of the fathers of the highly acclaimed Unisys “Hermes” editorial system and is now managing all operations in Southern Europe. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Milan.

Riccardo De Mattei

VP R&D and digital services

Riccardo started his journey in the Media Industry in 2000 with Unisys, continuing with Atex in different positions, from Professional Services to Product Development. He has experience in software design, development, and delivery to key customers in various countries for different product areas: archive management, integrations between traditional print and digital media, content management. He holds an MSc in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano.
